  Southwest Louisiana offers a number of lodging choices.  Whether you want to stay in a lodge right in the middle of the marsh you fish, wish to mix your fishing with exciting casino gaming action, or simply want a comfortable room at a reasonable rate  your needs can easily be met.  Below are just a few options.  Captain Ron Begnaud's guide service does offer pick up and drop off from any of our local hotels at no addittional charge.

Southwest Louisiana has gained quite a reputation as a casino gaming destination.  With 3 riverboat casino's currently operating on our waters, and a huge casino/resort slated to open in the spring of 2005, many sportsman choose to enjoy what we call a "Fish and chips" trip.  Combining world class shallow water sight fishing during the day, with exciting casino action at night.

The casino hotels currently operating in Southwest Louisiana are the Isle of Capri in Westlake, and Harrah's in Lake Charles.  Both are easily accessed off of I10.
